دشت هلن : نقش‌های بهشت بر بوم زاگرس

در قلب ستبر و شکوه مند رشته‌کوه‌های زاگرس، جایی که طبیعت بی‌مهادا قلموی آفرینش را به دست گرفته، نقشی چنان بدیع بر بوم زمین کشیده شده که گویی تکه‌ای از بهشت را به امانت گرفته‌اند. اینجا «دشت هلن» است؛ نگینی سبز در دل استان چهارمحال و بختیاری که گویی پروردگار، تمام رنگ‌های پالت خود از سبزی مراتع و زمردین جنگل‌ها تا آبی زلال رودخانه‌ها را در آن به کار برده است.

معرفی دشت هلن

دشت هلن، تصویری زنده و دست‌نخورده از طبیعت بکر رشته‌کوه‌های زاگرس را به نمایش می‌گذارد. این ناحیه وسیع که به «سوئیس ایران» ملقب شده، با جنگل‌های متراکم بلوط، که نقش ریه‌های تنفسی آن را ایفا می‌کنند، پوشیده شده و رودخانه‌های پرآبی همچون کارون و ارمند از میان آن می‌گذرند و حیات و شادابی را در سراسر دشت جاری می‌سازند.

این دشت، بهشتی برای حیات وحش است و میزبان گونه‌های گوناگونی از جانداران و پرندگان می‌باشد. دشت هلن نه تنها یک منطقه حفاظت‌شده بااهمیت برای محیط زیست ایران محسوب می‌شود، بلکه مقصدی جذاب برای علاقه‌مندان به تورهای رفتینگ (قایقرانی در آب‌های خروشان) نیز هست. تجربه رفتینگ در رودخانه‌های پرخروش، پیاده‌روی در دل جنگل‌های رازآلود و کمپینگ در آغوش طبیعت آرام آن، تنها بخشی از ماجراجویی‌هایی است که این دشت منحصربه‌فرد به گردشگران هدیه می‌دهد.

تاریخچه و نامگذاری دشت هلن

پس‌زمینه تاریخی دشت هلن با روایتی عاشقانه و از خودگذشته گره خورده است. در حدود یک قرن پیش، پرستاری آمریکایی به نام «هلن» با دکتر ابوالقاسم بختیار، پزشک ایرانی، ازدواج کرد. آن‌ها به ایران مهاجرت کردند و هلن در کنار همسرش، به درمان و یاری رساندن به مردم عشایر بختیاری مشغول شد. هنگامی که عملیات نقشه‌برداری از این منطقه انجام می‌شد، مردم محلی به پاس خدمات و فداکاری‌های بی‌شائبه هلن، نام او را بر بلندای یکی از کوه‌های این دشت نهادند. به تدریج، این نام بر کل این ناحیه سایه افکند و دشت وسیع و زیبای هلن متولد شد.

اهمیت اکولوژیک و زیست‌محیطی این دشت، موجب شد تا در سال ۱۳۷۷، شورای عالی حفاظت محیط زیست، گام‌های جدی برای صیانت از آن بردارد. یک سال پس از آن، در سال ۱۳۷۸، دشت هلن به طور رسمی به عنوان یک «منطقه حفاظت شده» اعلام گردید و از سال ۱۳۸۰، مدیریت آن تحت نظر اداره کل حفاظت محیط زیست استان چهارمحال و بختیاری قرار گرفت. این تصمیم، گامی اساسی در جهت حفظ جنگل‌های ارزشمند بلوط و تنوع زیستی کم‌نظیر این منطقه بود.

جاذبه‌های گردشگری دشت هلن

جنگل‌های بلوط زاگرس: دشت هلن با مساحتی حدود ۴۰ هزار هکتار، بخش عمده‌ای از جنگل‌های بلوط زاگرس را در خود جای داده است. این جنگل‌ها نه تنها به عنوان ریه‌های طبیعی منطقه عمل می‌کنند، بلکه پناهگاهی امن برای انواع گونه‌های گیاهی و جانوری به شمار می‌روند.

رودخانه‌های کارون و ارمند: این دو رودخانه پرخروش، شریان‌های اصلی حیات در دشت هلن هستند که با عبور از میان آن، طراوت و زیبایی بی‌بدیلی به وجود می‌آورند. وجود این رودخانه‌ها، فرصت انجام فعالیت‌های مفرحی مانند رفتینگ، قایق‌سواری و شنا را فراهم می‌کند و برای دوستداران ورزش‌های آبی، مقصدی ایده‌آل است.

چشمه‌های متعدد: دشت هلن میزبان چشمه‌های فراوانی مانند چشمه سیبا، آب سفید، تاگک و چشمه کنه مز می‌باشد که هر یک با آب زلال و گوارای خود، سهم به‌سزایی در سرسبزی و حیات این دشت دارند. این چشمه‌ها، مکان‌هایی مناسب برای توقف، استراحت و بهره‌بردن از آرامش طبیعت بکر هستند.

حیات وحش غنی: به لتنوع پوشش گیاهی و منابع آبی فراوان، دشت هلن زیستگاه انواع مختلفی از حیوانات و پرندگان است. از جمله ساکنان این منطقه می‌توان به کل و بز کوهی، سنجاب ایرانی، شغال، روباه، گراز، خرس قهوه‌ای و نیز انواع گوناگونی از پرندگان اشاره کرد.

آبشار دره عشق: این آبشار تماشایی که در مسیر رودخانه ارمند واقع شده، از دیگر دیدنی‌های مسحورکننده دشت هلن محسوب می‌شود. آبشار دره عشق با سقوط از ارتفاعات، منظره‌ای دل‌انگیز و هوایی خنک را در دل طبیعت این منطقه به ارمغان می‌آورد.

زندگی عشایری: حضور سنتی عشایر بختیاری در دشت هلن، بر جذابیت‌های فرهنگی و بومی این منطقه می‌افزاید. آشنایی با شیوه زندگی، صنایع دستی منحصربه‌فرد و مهمان‌نوازی اصیل آن‌ها، تجربه‌ای فراموش‌نشدنی برای هر گردشگری خواهد بود.

در فصل پاییز، خصوصاً در ماه‌های مهر و آبان، نقاشی طبیعت با رنگ‌های طلایی، نارنجی و قرمز برگ‌های بلوط، مناظری افسانه‌ای خلق می‌کند که برای عکاسی بی‌نظیر است و هوای معتدل و لذت‌بخشی نیز حاکم می‌شود.

مسیرهای دسترسی به دشت هلن

برای رسیدن به این دشت بکر، مسیرهای مختلفی وجود دارد:

مسیر اصلی از شهرکرد

این مسیر متداول‌ترین راه است. از شهرکرد به سمت شهر ناغان حرکت کنید. پس از رسیدن به ناغان، یک جاده فرعی شما را مستقیماً به منطقه حفاظت‌شده دشت هلن می‌رساند. مدت زمان تقریبی این مسیر حدود ۳ ساعت است. همچنین با استفاده از جاده شهرکرد به سمت خوزستان، می‌توانید از طریق مجموعه دوپلان، سرخون (اردل) و سپس پل ارمند – که خود از جاذبه‌های دیدنی محسوب می‌شوند – به دشت هلن دسترسی پیدا کنید.

مسیر از لردگان (برای مسافران جنوب کشور)

اگر از استان‌های جنوبی سفر می‌کنید، از شهر لردگان می‌توانید از طریق بزرگراه خلیج فارس و جاده ارمند راهی دشت هلن شوید. فاصله رانندگی از لردگان تا دشت هلن حدود ۱ ساعت و ۳۰ دقیقه به طول می‌انجامد. این مسیر از روستای تنگ کلوره، بلوار خلیج فارس، آب چنار و شهرک سونک عبور می‌کند.

مسیرهای فرعی و خاکی (مخصوص طبیعت‌گردان حرفه‌ای)

جاده‌های خاکی منشعب از روستاهایی مانند جوزستان (در شهرستان کیار)، آب گلور، سرتنگ مسن و ده کهنه سررُک نیز به دشت هلن ختم می‌شوند. این مسیرها اغلب ناهموار و صعب‌العبور هستند و استفاده از خودروهای دو دیفرانسیل برای پیمودن آن‌ها توصیه می‌شود. علاوه بر این، یک مسیر تریل بسیار زیبا به طول ۱۵ کیلومتر از روستای گندمکار تا روستای جوزستان طراحی شده که از میان جنگل‌های دلفریب بلوط می‌گذرد و گزینه‌ای استثنایی برای کوهنوردی و طبیعت‌گردی عمقی می‌باشد.

آب و هوای دشت هلن

They immigrated to Iran, and Helen, alongside her husband, dedicated herself to treating and helping the people of the Bakhtiari tribe. When surveying operations were being conducted in the region, the local people, in gratitude for Helen’s sincere services and dedication, named one of the highest peaks in this plain after her. Gradually, this name cast its shadow over the entire area, and the vast and beautiful Helen’s Plain was born

The ecological and environmental importance of this plain led the High Council of Environmental Protection to take serious steps for its preservation in 1998. One year later, in 1999, Helen’s Plain was officially declared a “Protected Area,” and since 2001, its management has been under the supervision of the Department of Environmental Protection of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province. Routes to Helen’s Plain

There are several routes to reach this pristine plain

Main Route from Shahrekord: This is the most common route. Drive from Shahrekord towards the town of Naghan. After reaching Naghan, a secondary road will take you directly to the protected area of Helen’s Plain. The approximate travel time for this route is about 3 hours. Alternatively, using the road from Shahrekord towards Khuzestan, you can access Helen’s Plain via the Dowplan complex, Sorkhun (Ardal), and then the Armand Bridge—which are themselves considered scenic attractions

Route from Lordegan (for travelers from the southern provinces): If you are traveling from the southern provinces, you can head from Lordegan towards Helen’s Plain via the Persian Gulf Highway and the Armand Road. The driving distance from Lordegan to Helen’s Plain takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. This route passes through the village of Tang Keloreh, Persian Gulf Boulevard, Ab Chenar, and the town of Sownak

Secondary and Dirt Roads (for professional nature enthusiasts): Dirt roads branching off from villages such as Jowzestan (in Kiar County), Ab Golur, Sar Tang Masen, and Deh Kohneh Sar Rok also lead to Helen’s Plain.
