بهترین روش خواندن
- درس را باز کنید.
- اولین کلمه را بخوانید و ترجمه را ببینید و در دفترچه یادداشتی بنویسید (یک روی صفحه، لغت انگلیسی و دقیقاً پشت آن، ترجمه اش را تا هنگام مرور، ترجمه جلوی چشم تان نباشد).
- سپس فایل کُند را گوش کنید و همرمان جمله را نگاه کنید. وقتی متوجه جمله شدید و کلمات برایتان شفاف شدند، سرعت متوسط را گوش کنید و بعد از فهم کامل جمله، سرعت تند را گوش کنید.
- این کار را چند بار تکرار کنید تا جمله برایتان کاملاً مفهوم شود.
- جمله را با صدای بلند برای خودتان بخوانید
- سپس جمله را با خط خودتان روی کاغذی بنویسید و بروید سراغ کلمه بعدی.
- هر وقت خواستید درس بعدی را بخوانید، ابتدا، جملات درس قبلی و چند درس قبل تر را مرور کنید.

پدرخوانده (انگلیسی: The Godfather) فیلم جنایی آمریکایی محصول ۱۹۷۲ به کارگردانی فرانسیس فورد کوپولا است که او فیلمنامهاش را به همراه ماریو پوزو نوشته است. این فیلم بر پایهٔ رمانی به همین نام نوشتهٔ پوزو ساخته شده است که پرفروشترین رمان سال ۱۹۶۹ میلادی بود.
در این فیلم مارلون براندو، آل پاچینو، جیمز کان، ریچارد اس. کاستلانو، رابرت دووال، استرلینگ هایدن، جان مارلی، ریچارد کونته و دایان کیتن ایفای نقش میکنند.
این فیلم نخستین قسمت از سهگانهٔ پدرخوانده است. داستان پدرخوانده از ۱۹۴۵ تا ۱۹۵۵ اتفاق میافتد و به شرح حال خانواده کورلئونه که زیر دست پدرسالار ویتو کورلئونه (براندو) می چرخد، میپردازد. هسته بنیادین داستان پدرخوانده بر تحول پسر کوچکش، مایکل کورلئونه (پاچینو) قرار دارد.
این فیلم در چهل و پنجمین دوره جوایز اسکار برندهٔ جایزه اسکار برای بهترین فیلم، بهترین بازیگر نقش اول مرد (براندو) و بهترین فیلمنامه اقتباسی (پوزو و کوپولا) شد. علاوه بر این پدرخوانده نامزد دریافت ۷ جایزهٔ اسکار دیگر شامل بهترین بازیگر نقش مکمل مرد برای پاچینو، کان و دووال و بهترین کارگردانی برای کوپولا نیز شد.
پدرخوانده از زمان نخستین پخش خود در سال 1972 میلادی به عنوان یکی از بزرگترین و تأثیرگذارترین فیلمهای ساختهشده به ویژه در سبک گنگستری مورد توجه قرار گرفتهاست. این فیلم برای قرار گرفتن در فهرست ملی ثبت فیلم کتابخانه کنگره ایالات متحده در سال ۱۹۹۰ انتخاب شده، که این فیلم ها «از نظر فرهنگی، تاریخی یا زیباییشناختی» قابل توجه اند و از سوی انستیتوی فیلم آمریکایی، به عنوان دومین فیلم بزرگ سینمای آمریکا (پس از همشهری کین) رتبهبندی شدهاست. پس از آن دنبالههای پدرخوانده: قسمت دوم (۱۹۷۴) و پدرخوانده: قسمت سوم (۱۹۹۰) منتشر شدند.
