عصر ایران ــ حادثه‌ای در دوران کودکی، زندگی ناصر عبداللهی را برای همیشه تغییر داد. او پس از این حادثه دچار لکنت زبان شد و حتی مدتی توانایی تکلم خود را از دست داد. درمان‌های پزشکی نتیجه‌ای نداشت تا اینکه خانواده‌اش با پزشکی در شیراز آشنا شدند که نسخه‌ای متفاوت برای او پیچید؛ خوانندگی و نواختن ساز ملودیکا. این پزشک معتقد بود تارهای صوتی کودک باید به‌طور مداوم تمرین و تقویت شوند. همین روش غیرمعمول سرانجام نتیجه داد و ناصر عبداللهی نه‌تنها دوباره توانست سخن بگوید، بلکه بعدها به یکی از ماندگارترین صداهای موسیقی ایران تبدیل شد.
